Support PRI This Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday 2023 3

Today, December 3rd, marks Giving Tuesday—a global movement that encourages “radical generosity” by motivating donor communities to contribute to their favorite charitable organizations each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

At the Pacific Research Institute, we are excited to participate in Giving Tuesday not just because of our status as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, but because we know that nonprofits are often at the forefront of innovative solutions to pressing social problems – problems that government bureaucracies are inadequately prepared to tackle due to regulations, red tape, and political pressures.

PRI relies solely on private contributions from individuals and organizations who support our message of economic freedom, free enterprise, and personal responsibility. Our supporters allowed us to significantly expand our reach and influence in 2024.

Since January, PRI has reached millions of Americans through 23 published books and studies, nearly 1,400 op-ed placements, more than 80 radio, television, and podcast hits, 17 public events and conferences, 223 blog posts on PRI’s Right by the Bay blog, and 48 episodes of PRI’s “Next Round” podcast.

As we enter 2025, PRI will have a vital role to play in shaping policies that foster economic growth, reduce government interference, and enhance global competitiveness. Whether offering policy recommendations on tax reform, deregulation, health care, trade, or social mobility, our team will bring valuable expertise and data-driven insights that can build coalitions and help policymakers implement pro-growth, market-oriented solutions.

Thanks to the support of our donors, PRI’s School Board Member Training Program is empowering elected school board members to put parents and students first. We hold annual training conferences in California, Texas, Arizona, and Washington and will expand to Oregon in 2025. Our newly released California Left Coast Survivor’s Guide is arming policymakers and voters across the nation with the facts and know-how needed to stop bad California ideas from taking root nationally.

And, PRI continues to influence the national debate on health care policy and medical innovation. In January, Encounter Books will publish Sally Pipes’ next book, The World’s Medicine Chest: How America Gained Pharmaceutical Supremacy—and How to Keep It.

As we prepare to launch new efforts for individual liberty and free markets in 2025, we hope that you will consider partnering with us and making an end-of-year, tax-deductible contribution to PRI. Click here to make a gift online.

We have an incredible opportunity to ensure that the ideas of limited government and economic freedom remain central to policy decisions in Washington, D.C. and state capitals around the nation. PRI’s influence is especially potent in shaping the direction of economic policy, regulatory practices, and the broader political debate.

With your support for our mission on this Giving Tuesday, we will be able reach new audiences, advise policymakers, produce detailed research, and set the narrative on our nation’s most important policies.
