Kevin Hassett, Distinguished Visiting Fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution and former Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers under President Trump, unpacks the current conflicting economic data and provides insight on whether a deep recession or prosperity is around the corner. He will discuss the market-based economic policies necessary to unleash prosperity and stop America’s slide toward socialism.

Senior Advisor to the President and the 29th Chairman of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers. Distinguished Visiting Fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution. He is the author of several books, including The Drift: Stopping America’s Slide to Socialism (Regnery Publishing, 2021). Formerly Vice President and Managing Director of the Lindsey Group. Served as the Chair in American Politics and Culture and Director of Research for Domestic Policy at the American Enterprise Institute, Senior Economist at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, associate professor of economics and finance at Columbia Business School, and a visiting professor at New York University’s Law School.  University of Pennsylvania (Ph.D.), Swarthmore College (BA with high honors).
