Reclaiming Liberty by Supporting PRI in Your End of Year Giving

Giving Tuesday 2022 Web Site

In this time of economic uncertainty and social unrest, PRI’s work is needed now more than ever to ensure that policymaking at the state and federal level is guided by innovation, marketplace competition, limited government, and individual choice.

As 2022 draws to a close, I cannot help but look back on all that we have accomplished this past year at the Pacific Research Institute.

PRI is influencing the debate and having impact in a number of key policy areas, including health care, education, economic growth, poverty, homelessness, and energy and environmental issues. In my “Giving Tuesday” blog from last month, I shared highlights of our 2022 achievements and our agenda for the year ahead.

In this time of economic uncertainty and social unrest, PRI’s work is needed now more than ever to ensure that policymaking at the state and federal level is guided by innovation, marketplace competition, limited government, and individual choice.

PRI’s Reclaiming Liberty Campaign, our annual year-end fundraising effort, seeks to raise critical funds to sustain our work to advance free-market policy solutions to our nation’s most pressing problems.

As we expand our programs and communicate our research to new audiences, we hope that you will partner with us and make an end-of-year, tax-deductible contribution to PRI.

With our team of unmatched public policy experts, PRI is in a unique position to halt the undermining of freedom and opportunity that legislators in Washington and throughout the country propose through excessive regulations, new and higher taxes, and new and misguided government programs.

We have made available several additional options as you make your year-end giving plans, including:

  • Giving appreciated stock, which helps PRI advance its mission while eliminating capital gains taxes for you as a donor.
  • Making a gift to PRI from your individual retirement account (IRA). This is an especially convenient option for those age 70½ or older and required to take minimum distributions.
  • Including PRI in your will or trust. Please talk to your accountant.
  • Listing PRI as a beneficiary of retirement accounts and insurance policies. These options allow your heirs to avoid paying taxes on these assets, while avoiding complicated legal procedures.

If you do choose to make a legacy gift using one of the above options, please let us know so that we can welcome you as a Legacy Donor in the Sir Antony Fisher Freedom Society, a group of our closest friends and most loyal supporters. You can read more about the Society and its benefits at this link.

Our ability to influence the policy debate would not be possible without the generous support of our donors who share our vision of a free and civil society where all individuals can reach their full potential.

On behalf of all of us at PRI, thank you for your investment in our mission.
