PRI senior fellow in business and economics Dr. Wayne Winegarden joins us to discuss the final paper in his “Breaking Down Barriers to Opportunity” series on entrepreneurship. Wayne discusses how well-intentioned government policies enacted during the pandemic, such as eviction moratoriums and massive spending increases, actually made the pre-pandemic problems faced by small businesses even worse. He also analyzes the impact the budget reconciliation bill would have on future entrepreneurship and makes recommendations to federal and state policymakers to boost small businesses.
