PRI’s Sally Pipes joined “AirTalk with Larry Mantle” on Southern California Public Radio/KPCC to talk about the potential for President Trump to cut cost sharing reduction (CSR) subsidies, and the debate in Washington over repealing and replacing Obamacare. She rebutted an earlier interview by State Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones, who threatened to sue the President if rates are cut.
They also discussed instability with Covered California, the state’s health care exchange, including this week’s news that premiums will increase by double-digits next year, and that Anthem Blue Cross would be pulling out of most markets thru the state’s health care exchange.
